- Organised by : IQAC
- Date : 30/06/2025 - 04/07/2025
- Venue : CPA College Campus
- Type : College Events
The Induction Programme was not merely an orientation, but an immersive experience that introduced students to the ethos and functioning of the institution. It aimed to foster a sense of belonging among the newcomers and help them adapt to the academic, cultural, and social environment of college life. The programme was planned with the goal of engaging students in a series of meaningful academic, motivational, ethical, and career-oriented sessions.
Over the course of five days, 342 students participated actively in a variety of sessions conducted by distinguished academicians, subject experts, legal professionals, law enforcement officers, and institutional mentors. The sessions addressed vital themes such as time management, leadership, self-employment, legal literacy, emotional resilience, communication skills, women empowerment, and the importance of goal setting. Students were also introduced to various student support services, including the library, placement cell, clubs, cells, and co-curricular committees that enrich campus life.
What made the SIP 2025 unique was the holistic approach adopted, following the SAGE framework—Socializing, Academic Orientation, General Awareness, and Ethics & Values. Every session was designed to touch upon one or more of these pillars, offering students not only information but inspiration and direction. In addition, experienced faculty members introduced students to campus clubs and associations such as NSS, NCC, ECO Club, Science Club, Road Safety Patrol, Anti-Drug Club, Women’s Cell, and many more, encouraging them to engage in activities that build character and civic responsibility.
The presence of dynamic resource persons such as Dr. M. Manoharan, Prof. N. Sugumaran, Mr. M. Venkatraman, Mrs. K. Krishnaveni, Dr. R. Kalirajan, Dr. S. Sagadevan, and Mr. G. Shanmugavel elevated the intellectual quality of the programme. Their talks were interactive, realistic, and grounded in experience, which resonated well with the young audience.
In essence, the Student Induction Programme 2025 laid a strong foundation for the students’ academic journey and personal development. It ignited in them a sense of purpose, a spirit of inquiry, and a commitment to lifelong learning. The five days served not only as a formal introduction to the institution but as an invitation to dream, to lead, and to grow.
