One day National level Webinar on the theme “RESEARCH FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES” was organinsed by PG and Research Department of Commerce, on 20^th April, 2021 at 11.00 am in the Department of Commerce, Cardamom Planters’ Association College, Bodinayakanur, in which students from our college and other colleges, staff members from our college and other colleges have participated. About 514 have registered through google forms and 375 members were present in this meeting.

Dr. S. Balamurugan, Vice-Principal, Head of the Department of Commerce & Convenor of the programme welcomed the gathering and Dr. C. Azhakarraja,  Organising Secretary and  Assistant professor of Commerce has introduced the chief guest to the gatherings. Dr. A. Murugan, Ph.D (IIT Hyderabad)., Research Associate, Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, Gujarat,  acted as the guest speaker.

The National level Webinar provided detailed information about the funding agencies in India and abroad for science and humanities. Dr.S.Sivakumar, Principal (i/c) of CPA College presided over the function and delivered presidential address.

Dr. A. Murugan, in his key note address highlighted about Research grant, seminar and workshop grant, fellowship grant, travel grant, scholarship for social science in international level and present grants available.

The concluding session of the seminar resolved the doubts and queries of gatherings by our chief guest. Finally, Dr. A. Sujatha , Assistant Professor of Commerce proposed vote of thanks.
