One day International Level webinar on the theme “IFRS 15 revenue recognition model - a conceptual understanding” Was organinsed by PG and Research Department of Commerce, on 21^st April, 2021 at 11.30 am in the Department of Commerce, Cardamom Planters’ Association College, Bodinayakanur, in which students from our college and other colleges, staff members from our college and other colleges, Auditors, financial consultants, entrepreneur, industrialists and from various disciplines have participated. About 218 members have registered through google forms and  193 members were present in this meeting.

Dr. S. Balamurugan, Vice-Principal, Head of the Department of Commerce & Convenor of the programme welcomed the gathering and G.Thangadurai, Organising Secretary and Assistant professor of Commerce was introduced the chief guest to the gatherings. Mr.K. Mathankumar, has acted as the Co-organising Secretary for this programme. Mr. Ganesh Gomu Senior Finance Manager, Imdaad LLC and Professional Trainer, Zabeel Institute, United Arab Emirates, acted as the chief Guest of this programme.

The Seminar provided knowledge on International Finance Reporting Standards. Dr.S.Sivakumar, Principal (i/c) of CPA College presided over the function and delivered presidential address.

Mr. Ganesh Gomu, in his key note address highlighted about Standard IFRS Requirements, IFRS vs. American Standards, History of IFRS and Several methodological differences exist between the two systems

The concluding session of the seminar resolved the doubts and queries of gatherings by our chief guest. Finally, Dr. A. Sujatha , Assistant Professor of Commerce proposed vote of thanks.
