Computer Club Inauguration and Fresher’s Day Celebration Block Chain and Decenralization: Advantages , Disadvantages and Implication

On 02.08.2023, Freshers Day Celebration and Computer Club Inauguarion was celebrated as the first event in our department for the academic year 2023-24. The final year and second year students welcomed the first year student. An ice breaking session was conducted for the first years. After, the Computer club inauguration ceremony was started at 11.15 am with Tamilthai vazhthu. Our Department Head and Associate Professor Dr. R. Murugesan gave welcome address. Our Principal-in-charge Dr.S.Sivakumar presided over the function and delivered his presidential address.
The Chief Guest introduction was given by Dr. R.Murugesan, Associate Professor of Computer Science. After that, the chief guest Mr. I. Jegankumar M.C.A.,M.Phil., Director, Block chain Academy, Chinnamanur and Chennai delivered his key note address on “ Blockchain and Decentralization: Advantages, Disadvantages and Implications”. Finally, Dr.K.Nithyanandakumari, Assistant Professor of Computer science has presented her vote of thanks. A sumptuous lunch was provided to the students after the completion of the session.
