One day State level Webinar on the theme “An orientation towards Competitive Examinations” was organinsed by PG and Research Department of Commerce, on 21^st April, 2021 at 2.00 pm in the Department of Commerce, Cardamom Planters’ Association College, Bodinayakanur, in which students from our college and staff members have participated. 85 members were present in this meeting.

Dr. S. Balamurugan, Vice-Principal, Head of the Department of Commerce & Convenor of the programme welcomed the gathering and Mrs. E. Pappulakshmi,  Organising Secretary and  Assistant professor of Commerce has introduced the chief guest to the gatherings. Dr. R. Balasubramani., Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Commerce, PG and Research Center of Commerce, G.T.N.Arts College , Dindigul acted as the guest speaker.

The Webinar provided an insight view on competitive examinations in India. Dr.S.Sivakumar, Principal (i/c) of CPA College presided over the function and delivered presidential address.

Dr. R. Balasubramani, in his key note address, highlighted on the various competitive examinations like TNPSC, UPSC, SSC, Banking service recruitment, interview and non-interview posts. The role of maths in getting through the competitive examination, various materials available in developing the skill, short cut methods of solving arithmetic in competitive exams and  other requirement of developing arithmetic skill.

The concluding session of the seminar resolved the doubts and queries of gatherings by our chief guest. Finally, Dr. A. Sujatha , Assistant Professor of Commerce proposed vote of thanks.
