One day State level Webinar on the theme “Office Accounting Automation” Was organinsed by PG and Research Department of Commerce, on 16th April, 2021 at 2.00 pm in the Department of Commerce, Cardamom Planters’ Association College, Bodinayakanur, in which students and staff members from our college have participated. 73 members were present in this meeting.
Dr. S. Balamurugan, Vice-Principal, Head of the Department of Commerce & Convenor of the programme welcomed the gathering and Dr. K. Vanitheeswari, Organising Secretary & Assistant professor of Commerce has introduced the chief guest to the gatherings. Mr. B. Murugananthan, M.C.A., Anand Computer Education, Bodinayakanur acted as the guest speaker.
The Seminar provided knowledge on Computerised accounting and automation of office to the participants. Dr.S.Sivakumar, Principal (i/c) of CPA College presided over the function and delivered presidential address.
The chief guest in his key note address highlighted on the employment opportunities, application of software, skills required to become an accountant to manage office automation, and other relevant things. He also emphasised on the importance of knowledge in Tally ERP.9 which is most widely used in India for accounting automation.
The concluding session of the seminar resolved the doubts and queries of gatherings by our chief guest. Finally, Dr. A. Sujatha, Assistant Professor of Commerce proposed vote of thanks.
