A guest lecture focused on details about the scope of Accounting related professional courses. Mrs.G.Shantha Devi. Head, PG Department of Commerce (SF), welcomed the gathering and the Inaugural address was given by Sri.R.Purushothaman., M.A., B.Ed. Secretary & Correspondent. The presidential Address was given by Dr.S.Sivakumar, Ph.D., Principal i/c, follow that the Felicitation Address was given by Dr.S.Balamurugan, Ph.D., Vice – Principal and Mr.S.Sureshkumar, MBA.,M.Phil.,NET., Co-Ordinator, Self Finance courses. Follow that gave an introduction of the chief guest by Mrs.N.Nalini, Head PG Department of Commerce (SF). 

The Keynote address was given by Mrs.Susheela Sankar, ICWA(Final)., (Ph.D)., Vice principal and Head department of Management studies, Nadar Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, Theni. After that the session was started by our resource person who outlined the accounting professional courses in India.  He also highlighted the requirements of various professional courses like CA, ICWAI, ACS and job opportunities for these courses in organizations in various countries.  She described accounting professionals are crucial part of any organization. Due to the fact that every company need accounts people whether public, private or non-profit, individuals pursuing the professional course have the choice of finding jobs in a diversified industry and companies. She clarified the details of subjects, exam patterns and fees structure of these courses. The guest lecture gave students a comprehensive overview of the significance of studying accounting professional courses.

Finally the session is concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr.S.Sethuraman., Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce (SF). This guest lecture was ended with National Anthem.
