The first and foremost event that has occurred in our department was the two days workshop on “Foundation course in Python Programming” held on June 26-27, 2018.       The inauguration session was held in the forenoon of 26^th June 2018. The welcome address was delivered by the head of the department Dr. S. Sivakumar. Mr. K. Madasamy Associate Professor presented the theme of the workshop.

Dr. R. Murugesan, Associate Professor gave felicitation. Finally, Mrs. K. Nithyanandakumari, Assistant Professor delivered the vote of thanks.

           Then the session was handed over to the resource person     
Mr. S. Satheesh Kumar M.Sc., M.Phil., He covered the important topics and has given the practical exercises to the participants in Python          .On 27^th evening, valedictory function was conducted. Feedbacks from students were obtained.

     This workshop has been envisaged with an objective to develop multimedia and web designing technology skills in students that plat an important role in the field of corporate development and enhance business activities.

. From 29^th June, Resource persons has taken the session and covered the topics in Flash and given exercise too.
