About Department

The Department of Botany was established in the year 2018, with introduction of B.Sc., Botany programme with Chemistry and Zoology as subsidiary subjects. The Department well equipped laboratory with modern instruments. The department is enriched with learning resources such as charts, slides, models, herbarium which help the students in independent learning. The botanical excursion is organized in view to study the wild plant diversity, forest ecosystem and to inculcate the research knowledge to the students by visiting Forest & Marine Ecosystem.
