Goals and Objectives

  • Eradicate Ragging: To completely eliminate ragging from campus by implementing rigorous monitoring, reporting mechanisms, and strict disciplinary actions against offenders.

  • Awareness and Education: To educate students, faculty, and staff about the harmful effects of ragging and the legal, academic, and personal consequences of such behavior through regular workshops, seminars, and campaigns.

  • Support Systems: To provide a robust support system for victims of ragging, including confidential reporting channels, counseling services, and immediate intervention by the Anti-Ragging Committee.

  • Community Building: To foster a sense of belonging and community among students by organizing activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and mutual respect, thereby reducing the likelihood of ragging incidents.

  • Legal Compliance: To ensure full compliance with UGC (University Grants Commission) and other regulatory body guidelines on anti-ragging, keeping up-to-date with any changes in laws and policies.

  • Continuous Monitoring: To maintain a vigilant and proactive approach to monitoring and addressing potential ragging situations through frequent campus patrols, anonymous surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
