TO MAKE THE STUDENTS UNDERSTANED THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD HISTORIES TO DEVELOP THEMSELVES.

MAKE THEM AWARE OF SOCIO-POLITICAL AND HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES IN  THE MODERN SOCIETY.

• Teach students about the value of cross-disciplinary thinking by providing them with educational and research opportunities between history and its other fields of study.
• Promote innovative curriculum development while exposing students to advanced knowledge in History.
• The syllabus has been designed in such a way that the students gain the required knowledge of confidence and skill which would enable to enhance upgrade attitude and competing skills.
• Encourage community engagement by providing students with service-learning and community-based research opportunities.
• Think of new approaches for solving problems in different historical fields and apply the knowledge in society to solve real world problems.
• Gain confidence to appear for competitive examinations conducted by State and Union Public Service Commissions, Staff Selection Commission and Improvement confidence to appear for competitive examinations like TNPSC.
• Serve as good role models to students for safe and ethical professional behaviour.
• Provide high quality academic advising for all majors.
