III B.Sc. Computer Science Students Secure Overall Championship at CAPTCHA’26

The III B.Sc. Computer Science students of Cardamom Planters’ Association College, Bodinayakanur, have brought laurels to the institution by securing the Overall Championship at CAPTCHA’26, an intercollegiate meet organized by Sri Adi Chunchanagiri Women’s College, Cumbum, on 17 September 2026.

The students demonstrated remarkable technical skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, confidence, and competitive spirit in the various events conducted as part of the intercollegiate meet. Their impressive performance across the competitions enabled them to secure the Overall Championship, marking a significant achievement for the Department of Computer Science and the college.

The success reflects the students’ dedication, hard work, preparation, and enthusiasm for learning beyond the classroom. Their participation in intercollegiate technical competitions provided them with an opportunity to apply their knowledge, develop practical skills, interact with students from other institutions, and demonstrate their talents in a competitive environment.

The winning team was accompanied by Mrs. V. Sharmila Devi, Guest Lecturer, Department of Computer Science & Information Technology, who provided valuable guidance, support, and encouragement to the students throughout the event.

The Principal, Head of the Department, faculty members, and staff of Cardamom Planters’ Association College congratulated the students on their outstanding achievement and appreciated their commitment, teamwork, and determination. The college also acknowledged the efforts of the faculty member who accompanied and guided the students during the competition.
