2019-2020 Unnat Bharath Abhiyan 2.0

Bodinayakanur, C.P.A College adopted Solaiyur, the most backward village under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Scheme. On 12.07.2019, under the guidance of the Management and Principal Dr. T.Rajakumaran, the Coordinator Dr. C.Gopi and his team Dr. A. Mohanraj, Dr. Srikanth, Mr. Rajarathinam, and fifty B.Sc., Botany students went to Solaiyur village and provided Tree saplings, vegetable seeds to villagers and schoolchildren at free of cost. Awareness programs on rural hygiene were also provided. Dr. C.Gopi and Dr. A. Mohanraj, Regional Planning Workshop on Unnat Bharat Abhiyan for Participating Institutions on 26.7.2019 at Gandhigram Rural Institute, Gandhigram, Dindigul District. A District Level Consultative Meeting among the Participating Institutions in Theni, Districts was conducted at CPA College, Bodinayakanur, Theni District to facilitate you all to carry out the UBA activities successfully on 16.10.2019. Grama saba 2020 participated in TWO places such as Anaikaripatti Panachayat (Adopted villages: Munthal & Solaiyur) and Kottagudi Panchayat (Kurangani and Kottagudi) PDF file as attachment for your reference. The following were discussed and passed as resolutions such as Rain water harvesting, cleanliness maintenance and health & hygienic, income generating agro technologies, awareness programme etc. 30 Students and 08 Faculty were involved Dr.C. Gopi participated in the Round table conference on Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and sustainable development goals held on 5.2.2020 at regional coordinating Institute-UBA, Gandhigram Rural Institute, Gandhigram Dindigul district Tamil Nadu.
