About Department

The department of physics was established  in the year 1985, which is now one of the well equipped center for studies.Under graduation  studies in physics was established in the year 1985 and post graduation program was introduced in 1991. Department aims to enable students to enjoy  the subject and to stimulate an interest in the implication of physics in society.It has two well maintained laboratories including a dark room which are being upgraded with latest equipment. The department has highly qualified and dedicated faculty members, with specializations in different areas of physics, place great emphasis on teaching.
