C.P.A. College Inaugurates New Mathematical and Computational Lab Sponsored by Alumni

The PG & Research Department of Mathematics at C.P.A. College proudly inaugurated a state-of-the-art Mathematical and Computational Lab on September 23, 2024. This new facility was made possible through the generous contributions of 39 alumni members, who together donated Rs. 6,00,000 to establish the lab, which is equipped with 20 computers and one dedicated server to support the learning and research needs of Mathematics students.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed chief guest Mr. Gopinath, well-known for his role as the host of the popular television show Neeya Naana. Mr. Gopinath addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of technology in modern mathematical studies and the significant role of alumni in supporting their alma mater.

Dr. K. Krishnan, Associate Professor and Head of the PG & Research Department of Mathematics, along with faculty, students, and alumni, extended heartfelt thanks to the alumni for their dedication to enhancing the educational experience of current and future students.

This new Mathematical and Computational Lab will provide students with access to advanced computational tools and resources, enhancing their research and academic capabilities. The C.P.A. College community is grateful for the enduring bond shared with its alumni and looks forward to the many achievements this lab will facilitate in the field of Mathematics.
