FDP on NAAC Readiness: Empowering Faculty for Accreditation

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of C.P.A. College, Bodinayakanur, organized a comprehensive one-day Faculty Development Programme on the theme of "NAAC Readiness: Empowering Faculty for Accreditation" The event took place on August 24, 2023, and saw active participation from 93 enthusiastic faculty members.

 

Dr. R. Murugesan, the Coordinator of IQAC, delivered the welcome address, expressing his gratitude for the attendees and highlighting the significance of NAAC accreditation in ensuring educational quality and excellence.

 

Sri. R. Purushothaman, the Secretary, and Correspondent of C.P.A. College, Bodinayakanur, delivered the Presidential Address. In his speech, he emphasized the institution's commitment to maintaining high standards of education and the pivotal role of faculty members in achieving accreditation goals.

 

Dr. S. Sivakumar, the Principal in charge of C.P.A. College, Bodinayakanur, delivered a Special Address. He emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach among the faculty, administration, and students to successfully navigate the accreditation process.

 

The Keynote Address was presented by Mr. H. Velraj, an expert in NAAC/NBA operations from Malley Cons QMS, Bangalore. Mr. Velraj's speech shed light on the key aspects of NAAC accreditation, outlining the criteria and best practices for achieving favorable outcomes during the accreditation process.

 

Dr. K. Krishnan, the Coordinator of NAAC at C.P.A. College, expressed gratitude on behalf of the institution in his Vote of Thanks. He acknowledged the efforts of the speakers and participants and underlined the institution's dedication to implementing the insights gained from the programme to ensure a smooth accreditation journey.

 

The Faculty Development Programme provided a platform for faculty members to gain a deeper understanding of NAAC accreditation procedures and readiness. It equipped them with the necessary knowledge and insights to contribute effectively to the college's accreditation goals. With the participation of 93 faculty members, the event demonstrated a collective eagerness to enhance the institution's standards and secure a higher level of recognition in the field of education.
