Library Sections
Book Stack Section
All topics included in the arts and sciences course curriculum are covered in the printed books in this section. The books can be borrowed as long as you follow the specified borrowing policies. The hierarchy of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) is used to organise the books.
Circulation Section
- Administers the issue of books, returns and renewals, and helps users in various other services.
- All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled for a membership in the Library.
- The students are automatically enrolled for the Library membership as soon as they are admitted.
Reference Section
The Reference section contains a variety of knowledge-rich resources, including encyclopaedias, dictionaries, thesauri, atlases, and reference books.
Reprographic Section
The library offers on-site photocopying services. It is recommended that users make the appropriate copies of the reference materials for their own usage.
Periodical Section
The Periodical section is the "Information Powerhouse" for up-to-date information found in journals, newspapers, official publications, and other serial literature.
Computer Section (Net Café)
The College has taken efforts to digitalise its library. The student-teachers to access to electronic resources using computers in net cafe. The library has also internet and Wi-Fi connection for the staff and students.
