The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at CPA College organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Awareness on Heartfulness on August 26, 2022. The event witnessed active participation from 81 attendees.

 

Dr. R. Murugesan, Ph.D., Coordinator of IQAC and Associate Professor of Computer Science, extended a warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of promoting holistic well-being. Dr. S. Sivakumar, Ph.D., Principal i/c, delivered the Presidential Address, highlighting the significance of incorporating mindfulness practices in education.

 

Mr. S. Jagadeesh, Neuro Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Zonal Coordinator for Theni & Dindigul Districts, shared insights on the role of Heartfulness in child development. Mr.Prakash Seshadri, Regional Facilitator and President of Heartfulness - Global Guide, provided a comprehensive perspective on Heartfulness practices.

 

Dr. K. Krishnan, Ph.D., Coordinator of NAAC and Assistant Professor of Mathematics, expressed gratitude to the distinguished speakers, ensuring the success of the FDP and promoting awareness of Heartfulness practices within the academic community. The FDP concluded with the National Anthem.
